[Drama CD Review] SEVENTH HEAVEN VOL. 4 Yuuri

SEVENTH HEAVEN vol.4 ユーリ「永遠のWALTZ」CV : Kondou Takashi (近藤隆)

My first request – so exciting!!!

Drama I

“Please wait. You. What’s that in your hand? Were you perhaps planning on committing suicide in front of this mansion?”

The scene starts with Yuuri catching the main character holding a knife, getting ready to kill herself. He takes it from her hand and says it’d be bad if the owner of the mansion caught her. But he suggests that she must have been in extreme grief to want to commit suicide. Yuuri mentions another, easier way to die – him killing her. He mentions that she is charming and introduces himself as a shinigami. Like in the last volumes, he explains that he can’t die and can’t feel, has nothing. But he says that the souls of those girls who don’t want to be hurt (but have suffered) are guided by shinigami. Seventh Heaven is a group within the shinigami, and their singing voices bring death. Since she’s seen a shinigami, she can no longer escape from her fate. He’d like to take her soul now, but he can’t until the next full moon. Thus, she’ll have to get along with him in the mansion while waiting (which involves believing in him and listening to his weird orders…something like that). He compliments her smile and says he’ll do anything for her why do I feel like he’s lying and welcomes her to the mansion.

Drama II

Yuuri watches her eat(?) and asks if she’s gotten used to the mansion. He offers to show her around the mansion’s gallery. Basically he explains about a certain image of a girl and asks what the heroine thinks about the picture (like, what the girl in the image is holding). He comments under his breath that she’s beautiful when she’s thinking.  I kind of don’t even know this vocabulary what is with Yuuri. He says he’s got something to ask of our heroine. Scene shifts, and it seems that our heroine is Yuuri’s model! He instructs her to look at him and compliments her eyes. He says that his heart hurts when he thinks about who could have made her make such sad eyes, but that, with him, everything will be fine. He lets her relax and pours her tea. Yuuri says he’s taking a break, then asks heroine is he can hug her like a lover would, but quickly says it’s a joke. Then creepily, he asks what the heroine would think if the girl from the picture from before was holding a knife. He suggests that the girl in the picture was so in love with a man that she wanted to make him hers (and probably killed him as a result) and apologizes to the heroine for scaring her. He declares that he would not knife the person he’s in love with and would want her to stay by his side (basically). It starts to rain and thunder and Yuuri wonders if there will be a storm. He asks if heroine will be able to sleep by herself tonight and makes her promise that she won’t go out when the bell rings at midnight and just sleep. He says he’s worried about her sleeping habits (?) and if she can’t sleep, he’d be willing to spend a night stroking her head while she fell asleep. He asks her what she wants to do, and she says she’s fine by herself. Yuuri says he’ll stay here and continue relaxing with tea, while heroine goes off to sleep.

Drama III

Continuous rain and the sound of something breaking, crows, and knocking on doors. Heroine leaves the room and encounters Yuuri, who can’t see her and asks if it’s Mint who’s come to see her. He realizes its heroine and she goes to turn on the lights but Yuuri tells her not to omg I bet something bad is going to happen. He asks her what’s wrong and that it’s midnight (“If I haven’t heard wrong, the bells at midnight have already rung”). Heroine says that the lightning struck and broke her window (?). Yuuri mentions Kanade (who probably broke the mirror, as evidenced by the crows).  Yuuri says that since her room is now a mess, finding another room she likes is fine. Yuuri says he can’t lead her there since he’s not feeling well though it sounds like he’s lying. He tells he to hurry up and leave. Heroine says she’s worried about Yuuri, and Yuuri replies that she’s a human, yet is worrying over a shinigami. He says that she’s really nice and it’s surprising that a person like her is living and that he doesn’t need help. He tries to tell her to leave again, but she continues to insist that she’s still worried and won’t leave omg please listen to him. “Your heart is really beautiful, isn’t it?” BA BOOM OMFG THAT LIGHTN ING SCARED THE CRAP OUT OF ME I’M ALONE IN THIS ROOM ALL BY MYSELF TOO WAHHHH.

And, I knew something bad would happen.

Scary music starts playing after Yuuri says “Ah, it’s too bad”

Heroine was able to see what was happening with Yuuri because of the lightning providing a moment of light to the room. He tells her that what’s spread around aren’t flower petals and that she should take a good look around – they’re butterfly wings. He tore them from the butterflies and killed them. He tells her that he tried to be nice to her, and told her to stay in her room and sleep. He tried to lie to her to not make her scared. He then pushes her down on the bed (“You never thought I would [do this] did you?”). She didn’t keep her promise (to not leave the room after midnight) and now he has to punish her. He proceeds to kiss her and asks her if it’s her first time being treated roughly. He wonders if the face she’s showing is one of acceptance or surprise. Heroine thought that Yuuri can’t see her face since its dark, but Yuuri says that shinigami can see better than humans.  Heroine pushes him off of her and Yuuri says that he thought he was a nice person and tells her to hurry and leave.

WHAT JUST HAPPENED I DON’T GET. I really don’t get random kissing

Drama IV

Yuuri knocks on heroine’s door, telling her he’s brought food. Heroine doesn’t answer him, but he enters anyways. He asks how she is, mentioning that her face is pale and that she didn’t sleep much. He says he’ll feed heroine the soup. She tries to resist and he asks if she’d prefer to be fed mouth-to-mouth. She refuses, and he tries again to feed her (I think he says if the soup falls on the floor, table, etc she’d have to eat it from there?). Yuuri feeds her a spoonful and then tells her to eat everything else herself. (“There’s no way you can’t do it yourself, right?  You can do it if you try it, huh”). He tells her to stop and to listen to him. He was mad when she broke her promise and says he can’t explain to humans why he tore those butterflies’ wings that day and how that amuses him. Heroine insists on knowing the reason why he does that and he laughs at her. He won’t tell her. He calls humans…narrow-minded (?), but heroine doesn’t agree and Yuuri agrees to tell her while slightly annoyed btw. He tells her that she can’t take it back even if she no longer wants to hear it.

He basically tells her that shinigami are like monsters since they are lacking in various ways. That’s why, he often finds weak things and feels better about himself. Right now, she’s there (like those weak things) and, when he was drawing the picture of her, he felt the urge to make her his. If he could he would do it now (something about her life…taking it??? What does ureta kajitsu mean?). He notices that she’s not scared and isn’t running away and that she can’t run away even if she wanted to. He says she’s strange and that he’s interested in her and wants her to tell him more about herself – everything about herself – since the picture is not enough.

Drama V

Yuuri notices heroine is still awake and wet from the rain. He went out a bit after finishing her picture. She was worried about him and he thanks her for that, but shinigami don’t get colds. He mentions that, while she’s wet, he can’t hug her (to warm her up). He tells her to go back to her room and that it’ll be bad for her to catch cold. Yuuri notices that heroine looks like she wants to say something to him. She asks about the blood on him. He mentions that his clothes got dirty and it’s nothing for her to worry about since it’s not big deal for shinigami to get hurt – and that the blood’s not even his.

He tells her to go, because otherwise she will really get a cold. Or go to the salon to drink warm milk. Heroine asks what he was doing outside and he asks if she’s really interested in the blood. He wanted to talk more (nicely), but it seems like that’s not possible. He basically talks about Kanade sending a copy to hurt heroine and how it’s unforgiveable for anyone to hurt her [evil laugh]. If I’m not mistaken, I think he talks about how happy he is/was when killing the copy. Heroine doesn’t seem very happy about it and says that she wants to be alone. Yuuri wonders what’s wrong, and she walks away but he follows. He thinks that she’s upset because the night of the full moon is coming and she wants to spend the rest of her time with a loved one  (“Who would be good? A friend? Your family?”). Heroine runs away.

Yuuri knocks on heroine’s door, but she doesn’t answer. He knows that she’s in the room but won’t unlock the door or answer him. He says that if she’s mad, he’ll apologize to her. He then implores her to believe in one thing – that he didn’t mean to make her sad. “Please talk to me and let me see your smile” (abbreviated). But she won’t even give him that. Yuuri says that the full moon is soon, though and he just wants to talk a little bit. In a lower voice, he asks if she wants to run away from him. They’ll be parting soon, though, anyways – so open the door. He repeats this angrily, but he eventually reveals that he has the key to her room and opens the door himself. Heroine is scared because Yuuri is mad at her. He says that he’s no longer mad at her, but wants to know how he upset her. She won’t say anything and Yuuri keeps questioning why, but doesn’t understand. Yuuri says he’s the only one who would do anything for her and hugs her to assure her of his feelings – but she still doesn’t understand. Yuuri says it’s because he likes her. He tells her to close her eyes (to kiss), but she pushes him away. He says that it’s obvious that two people in love should kiss. Heroine always smiles happily in front of him, so he doesn’t believe (won’t believe) that she’s not actually interested. He pushes her down and says “That’s why – let’s become one, right now.” While laughing, he comments on her eyes, which look like she wants to run away, but he won’t let her escape. And he believes she’ll become unwilling to run away from him. She’ll start to want him – because Yuuri had her take a certain medicine, but when was it taken? It was in the tea, the soup…everything she consumed and it’s in the kiss. “Do you think you were an idiot (for trusting me, etc)? But I like [that part of you as well].” *

He tells her to kiss him back, and she does. GAHHH she’s like his doll now

*just a note, I’m not actually translating word for word, just generally, since I don’t actually know everything he’s saying

Drama VI

Day of the Full Moon

Yuuri comments on the full moon and that he knew he would have to separate from her. He didn’t know how painful it would be – but she won’t disappear, he says. She’ll live on in him forever. OMFG I think he just said he killed all her important people, justifying his actions by saying he’s the only one for her. She laughs and he compliments her on that. He believes even if he hadn’t drugged her, she would still laugh for him. He understands her the most. Heroine cries her true feelings? and Yuuri says that those tears are his as well. He licks her tears away and asks to see her soul (and he takes it out to see). He tells her to kiss his hand and that he can now feel her in this form.  KISS FEST TIME There’s no longer any distractions for them, and Yuuri “I want you more and more. More and more.” He’ll teach her that she’s his. The bell begins to ring, and heroine feels strange. Yuuri assures her by saying he’ll kiss wherever she hurts the most like a boo-boo.  YEAH, SO, BASICALLY LOVE-LOVE KISSING TRACK HERE. Except there really isn’t any love.

Around the 10 minute mark of the track, Yuuri asks why she has such sad eyes. They should be sparkling beautifully. But her eyes are just reflecting sadness. She’s not seeing him. Her eyes are the only part of her that are not lying (her lips and body are because of the drug). He just wants her, why, why won’t she want him back?

“I get it. It’s fine now (I don’t care). It’s fine. The you that won’t become mine isn’t you. I’ll…finally kill you.”

Awwww this track is actually kind of pretty, but trust me, I cannot translate [songs] for my life. I’m just not good with how to word things in the right way.

Extra Track ~Last Message~

He remembers that he forgot to show her the finished picture that he drew of her. It was a picture of her best smile. Her eyes were beautiful in the image and the painting reflects what she really is like. “From now on, we’ll be together forever. I love you. I love you. I love you, I love you, I love you. Even though I love you this much…!”

Final Thoughts

Surprisingly, this CD really didn’t scare me that much. The only time I was really freaked out was when the lightning struck at the butterfly scene. That loud noise scared the crap out of me. I really thought that, after seeing that picture of Yuuri holding that doll that the CD would be…umm, well, abusive (although admittedly, the drugging-the-heroine thing was kind of abusive. I did not see that coming). ACTUALLY, I feel bad for Yuuri – even though he is so yandere and crazy. In all the other CDs, the heroine held some affection for the shinigami partner, but in this CD HIS FEELINGS WERE NEVER RECIPROCATED. To be honest, they probably could’ve been and were in the beginning, but then he just revealed that he was really crazy and obsessive and….that scared Ms. Heroine away. The drugging part was pretty unforgiveable for me, especially since he basically did it right from the beginning (in small amounts). But I don’t hate him. He just seems too pitiful (but I didn’t really understand everything that went on in the CD, so I don’t actually understand his motivations. Is he jealous of life?).

I also didn’t really get a feeling for the heroine in this volume.

大和彼氏 SWEET DRAMA SELECTION CD Track 3 Translation

•August 17, 2013 • Leave a Comment

I don’t know why – it may be out of boredom or out of wanting to do something productive, but I decided to translate my favorite track from the Yamato Kareshi drama CD. Yay! Chitose is just SUCH a cutie. I might translate the rest of the tracks later, though I did try my hand at the first track and found myself wondering what a lot of vocab meant.

This is also on my tumblr, chisaimo. Please do check it out.

03 千歳冬馬 (CV. 松原大典)

Ah..um…Chitose Touma. I came from Hokkaido….I came but…is it okay if I go back now? It’s definitely impossible for m-me to become king so….goodbye!

A, h-hello. A-Are you taking a walk? I-I also like this park and come a lot! Huh? Somehow…suddenly, the sky is…A-ahhh!!! If we stay here, we’ll get soaked. Ah, yeah, there’s a shed (?) over there!  L-let’s go! Over here!

*panting* If we’re here, then….huh?  The window’s broken. If it’s like that, then the rain will come in…Um…let’s go over there. Did you get hit by the rain? Thank goodness. Eh? I’m wet? It’s fine. Because the window’s broken, there’s no way both of us won’t get wet.  Since it’s like that, then I should be the one to get wet.  Anyways, I’m happy that the useless me was able to be of use for the first time [what he said here was “muda ga takai shinjo ga hajimete yaku ni tatte” which I wasn’t exactly sure what it meant]. *laugh* I remember when I was younger, the rain suddenly fell but [many trees blocked my path home] so I couldn’t return home. I looked for a huge tree and used it as a shelter from the rain. Right now, I feel like I’m returning the favor to the you from back then. It’s like, right now, for you, I’m the shade of the tree that once covered my childhood self.

It seems like the rain is going to continue for a while. But, don’t worry, until the rain stops, like now, I’ll protect you.

[Drama CD Review] SEVENTH HEAVEN VOL. 3 Itsuki

•August 13, 2013 • Leave a Comment

Hi! It’s kure, after such a long time! I meant to post about this a while back, but, well…I was pretty lazy, and I had classes (all excuses, of course). Hopefully I’ll be a bit better on posting things now! Now, I know a BUNCH of people have been reviewing Itsuki’s volume of SEVENTH HEAVEN, and I totally get why, It was such a good drama CD that even I, who was on a year hiatus, just felt so compelled to write about it. ….but I’m still going to have to listen to it again before reviewing! AHHHH. haha.

SEVENTH HEAVEN vol.03 イツキ「Reunion」 CV : Takahashi Naozumi (高橋直純)

Itsuki’s appearance is not my favorite of the bunch, though his CD is my favorite so far (but I haven’t listened to volume 4 yet). I heard Takahashi’s work before, in Shinsengumi Mokuhiroku Wasurenagusa, and I loved Saito’s volume, so, of course, Takahashi became one of the seiyuus I looked forward to listening to. As before, I’ll be reviewing track by track.

Drama I

The track begins with the main character (I’ll just refer to her as MC after this) waking up after trying to commit suicide with Itsuki fretting over her. He asks why she approached Hiiragi Mansion, when he specifically warned her not to. He worries some more, then hugs her and apologizes for not noticing how hurt she was. He then asks how she’s doing – if she’s hurt anywhere, is feeling well, etc. MC is looking at Itsuki strangely, but Itsuki thinks it’s because she’s hungry or something. She answers that she doesn’t know who he is. Itsuki is surprised, trying to tell her to remember him and reminding her of certain events – they’ve always been together. He stops trying to force her to remember when he sees that she really doesn’t remember anything and introduces himself. He explains that he’s not a human, but a shinigami who can’t feel anything (as in body warmth, etc), but he explains that he doesn’t want MC to die, yet she’ll be killed by him through his song.

Drama II

Itsuki says he’ll show the MC around the garden, taking her by the hand (and calling her Princess). They talk about the meanings of different flowers, and MC gets stuck by a thorn on a rose. Itsuki puts a band aid on it and MC apologizes for being annoying (though Itsuki says it’s fine, muttering under his breath how her troubled face is cute). MC asks why a shinigami is her childhood friend. Before meeting MC, Itsuki never felt anything – everything was boring. That’s when Kanade came talking about a certain, special soul. Itsuki purposely went out to meet MC as a small child and realized immediately that she was the person Kanade was talking about. Usually, humans can’t see shinigami, but MC was able to and was even smiling at him. Itsuki went to Kanade and asked him to let him take charge of MC and to stay by her side as a human before the time came for her to come to the mansion. Itsuki became her childhood friend and began to care for the crybaby MC. He knew that MC would eventually die, because she’s a a human, but Itsuki wished that MC would not take her own life, and that she should be happier than anyone else (He even said no one else mattered – he didn’t care how anyone else died but her ブ━。:+((*´艸`))+:。━ッ). He meant to tell her about himself (?), but wanted to stay just a regular guy in front of her. He cuts off the story there, then invites her to tea inside, teasing her, asking if he should hold her princess style, bringing her inside like a prince. He’s so teasing….ugh so cute w(≧▽≦)w Before going inside, he asks MC if the story made her remember anything (it didn’t).

Drama III

This track starts off with a flashback, with Itsuki running up to MC, bringing her a popular teddy bear (kuma-chan ningyo).  He teases her, saying he’ll give it to her if she really, really wants it, but then just hands it over. She says it’s fine, but he insists. He asks her if she’s forgotten what today is – her birthday! MC’s phone rings, and Itsuki asks who it is (“IS IT A BOY?”). MC has no plans, so Itsuki promises that he’ll always spend her birthday with her. He then asks when she’ll get a boyfriend and if she really knows what it means to celebrate her birthday together every year. He finally says, “then, how about I make you my girlfriend?” キャ—(*ノ∀ノ)—♡ MC is dense and never realized he liked her. Itsuki explains that she’s really important to him and says a proper confession, saying “I like you. As a girl. Always – I’ve always liked you.” SO FREAKING CUTE. He asks if he can’t be special to her and says it’s fine to answer him tonight – then it fades out. MC wakes up to the current timeline, Itsuki confessing he was watching her sleep creeper and asks MC what’s wrong. She says she saw a dream about him, and he says that that makes him happy and asks her about what she saw. He listens, and tries to pass it off as just a dream, but admits, reluctantly and embarrassed, that that was a memory. He explains that he hasn’t heard her answer yet and that he’ll always wait for it, but doesn’t want to hand her to any other guy o(≧∇≦o) man i wish this would really happen to me. He goes on to say that he didn’t want her to die and gets her to admit that she still wants to live, explaining that there might be a way to save her.  They talk about her memories, how after singing, she’ll forget him. Itsuki reassures her, saying they’ll just start over again. It ends with MC smiling and Itsuki repeating that she’s cute.

Drama IV

MC and Itsuki have a tickle fight, with Itsuki calling her a pervert for touching his chest. He wonders if MC came to talk about dying and her worries about what’s going to happen. They hug to reassure her and Itsuki ponders about their situation (in how when they were still just childhood friends, he could have never imagined holding her). MC asks Itsuki if he’s sung for other girls (he has – it’s SEVENTH HEAVEN’s duty). Itsuki asks if she’s jealous and tells her to get more jealous since it makes him happy – he always thinks of her. More teasing ensues. man he’s so cute

Drama V

The track starts out with MC in the kitchen making plain omelets for Itsuki, who is very happy because of that. He hums while she continues cooking. After a short fade out, Itsuki tastes the omelet and excitedly tells MC how good it is – based off feelings, since shinigami can’t actually taste anything awww he’s such a sincere doggie. MC asks Itsuki if he wants anything else, though he answers that it’s fine as long as she’s by his side. He considers something else, but stops before he asks her for something. MC still worries, though, and Itsuki comes over to embrace her, asking what she wants. He announces again that he’s in love with her, and asks if she can’t be with a shinigami, trying to tell her his good points (he won’t die before her, he’ll treasure her and won’t make her worry, etc). MC is surprised and Itsuki apologizes and asks her to tell him on the night of the full moon, when he’ll confess to her again. He tells her to come to his room when he hears the bells ringing.

Drama VI

MC comes to Itsuki’s room as promised. Itsuki asks how she’s feeling and quickly hugs her, saying how he wants to make her his now, asking her to close her eyes. Basically, Itsuki just has a huge make out fest with MC which totally made me blush listening to this whole thing omfg. Somewhere in the track, he also takes out her soul (of which he can actually feel the warmth from) – and continues the make out session with that lol.

Skipping the song track (Reunion)

8 – ExtraTrack~Last Message

Itsuki tries to wake up MC a couple of times, before realizing that she’s actually dead omg so heartbreaking щ(ಥДಥщ). He never even got to hear her answer to his confession. He killed her, even though he thought they could finally be together. A crow’s call reaches him in the distance, and he realizes that Kanade knew that this would happen. He calls out to him, asking just how much he has to take from him before it’s enough (and says he’s already taken everything from him). He curses Kanade, yelling that he won’t forgive him and will definitely kill him. The crows calls continue and Itsuki realizes his memories are disappearing. He struggles to remember MC (“I won’t forget…her name is…..her name….name….”) as his memories gradually fade away.

Final Thoughts:

To be honest, the first two SEVENTH HEAVEN volumes failed to really move me in any way (though I was pretty freaked out when Hinata wanted you to choke him…) and this was the first volume where I really wanted to cry and felt so horrible! Itsuki was SUCH a sweetheart and adorable in the memory scene. BUT UGH SO STUPID. WHEN I HEARD THAT “TELL ME HOW YOU FEEL ON THE DAY OF THE FULL MOON” I WAS LIKE OMG NO OBVIOUSLY IT AIN’T GONNA HAPPEN SINCE YOU STOPPED HER. AND AND AND WHEN THE DAY CAME HE WAS CONCENTRATING SO MUCH ON MAKING OUT THAT HE DIDN’T EVER GET HIS ANSWER!!! (╯ಥ益ಥ )╯︵ ┻━┻ ugh I saw that coming but it was still so HEARTBREAKING. Although I know the main character is supposed to be the listener, I kind of wish we knew what the motivations were for the girls to try to commit suicide. I feel like that would make a better story and strengthen (especially in this CD) the ties between the shinigami and the listener. I seriously thought SEVENTH HEAVEN would be a game too, so we could actually have happy endings, but it doesn’t seem like it ಥ_ಥ

Sorry! I’m super late with the Koisuru Lesson translation, but I’ll get that up soon…hopefully >.<

I’ve been kind of busy, with school ending and graduation coming up soon and stuff. I still want to tweak the translations a bit before I post them up. I have to figure out the parts I couldn’t translate before…

In any case, to replace the Koisuru Lesson translation, I’ll post up this short translation I did for a track of…

超接近型 ささやき密着CD 2~美容師•MICHAELの美容カルテ~

(Chō sekkin-gata sasayaki mitchaku CD 2)

I translated the last track…since it was just so adorable~ …and it didn’t take long ( ‘ ~ ‘ )

14 お見送り……?

Thank you for your patronage. I’ll be waiting for your next visit.

[0:08] Here you go. Be careful on your way home.

[0:58] Wait! Please wait!

[1:07] I’m sorry for this. Aaaaah, no. You didn’t forget anything. Don’t worry. There’s nothing to say about that…

[1:21] Um…If I say this, you might not want to come to my shop anymore and I’m afraid of that but…I’ve had something I’ve always, always wanted to tell you.

[1:40] I like you. Not as a customer!  As a woman. Somehow…please become my lover!

[1:57] Huh? You’re crying…do you not want to?

[2:04] Eh? It’s the opposite? You mean…you’re crying because…

[2:15] Sorry for making you cry. But…the crying you…is also very cute.

[2:29] From now on and always, let me cut your hair, okay? No matter how much time passes, I’ll be the only one to make you pretty.

So cuuuutttteeeee~~~

Though the sequences where some drama on tv (?) would show were kind of weird…

Anyways! Sorry again! I’ll try to post the translations up soon! And I’ll try to translate more CDs….(but I worry that I won’t understand most of them)

I’ve had a lot of free time during classes lately (AP exams time…), so instead of homework, I’ve actually been translating drama CDs! Currently, I’m in the process of translating Koisuru Lesson for Kunishiro Ayumu. I’ll probably be finishing it up this weekend and I’ll post it up then. There’s probably a bunch of mistakes and here and there, so you might not understand it because I didn’t understand all the vocabulary used in the CD. However, I did my best to translate it! And I totally understand the pain of translating now…one track took at least like two hours to translate…but it was a lot of fun.

Ayumu’s CD is my favorite Koisuru Lesson CD (ღˇ◡ˇ)~♥

Just a warning in advance – this isn’t a translation (well, not a full one). Not everything may be correct, because I don’t have a great grasp on Japanese yet.

…but of course, I just had to post my thoughts about this!!!

愛してあげるニャ! -僕のペット- VOL.1瀬戸恵一 (CV:石田彰)

Aishite Ageru Nya! is a drama CD that focuses on a pet owner and his interactions with his pet (who is supposed to be the listener). Whom he loves. Very. Much. When Ishida Akira says “nya” it’s so cute…(*´ー`*)

The first track (ただいま) introduces an ordinary salaryman, Seto Keiichi (CV: Ishida Akira). At first, Seto seems absolutely normal..but when he gets home, his voice seems to change. It becomes, well, super adorable, and very, very silly. Seto comes home to his cat (named Silk), and displays affection, hugging and kissing Silk. He asks Silk is she’s been a good girl while he was away. Silk’s stomach grumbles, and comments on how he and Silk had plans to eat together but he ate beforehand. Seto apologizes to Silk and hugs her. Near the end of the track, he calls Silk the world’s cutest cat.

The second track  (トイレのお掃除) has Seto and Silk in some sort of fight. I’m not exactly sure what, but I think that Silk might have went to the bathroom somewhere inappropriate. Silk runs away when Seto tries giving her a lecture. Seto asks if it was because she was lonely and wanted to play with him and then apologizes to her. His “boku ga warukatta da nya, yurushite hoshin da nya” (I was wrong nya, please forgive me nya~) made me laugh. He then gushes about how Silk’s such a nice girl and says he loves her (“Aishiteru~”). He wants to be with Silk forever and can’t think of a life without her ♥

The next track (晩ごはん) has Seto finally bringing Silk food. He tells Silk that she really knows good food, saying how her food was more expensive than his lunch. But he’s fine with just seeing Silk happy while she eats. In the middle of the track, Seto’s voice drops to a sexy tone. It’s here, where I laugh the most. Here’s a short translation of part of it:

“Come here. Will you listen to my wish? What is it? I want you. I can’t hold it back. I want to feel your body temperature directly. I can’t can I? You said it’s okay? Really? I’m happy. Thanks.”

Even though I’m supposed to be Silk when I’m listening to the CD, I can’t help but think of how he’s talking to a cat while saying this. Seto then sniffs Silk’s fur and comments on her smell (๑´ლ`๑)

In the fourth track (お風呂へ入ろう), Seto is getting ready to take a bath. Silk seems to want to come too, and Seto allows it. But Silk is scared of the water, so he tells her to wait outside. She scratches at the door while he’s drying his hair and he lets her in. Silk loves the dryer and while trying to reach it, she pulls at the towel Seto has on. The towel falls and Seto tells Silk to turn around and not look because she’s a girl. (* ´艸`)クスッ♪ When Seto leaves the bathroom, he gets water for Silk. While Silk is drinking it, Seto comments on how it’s almost time to sleep. He then tells Silk that they’ll always be together and play a lot. He’s happy as long as she is.

Track 5 (急なお仕事) starts with Seto finishing vacuuming and then asking Silk what they should play. He gets a phone call from a client (and talks with a serious voice!) and seems to have to do something he obviously doesn’t want to do (since he throws a mini tantrum afterwards). He apologizes to Silk for scaring her and complains about how he wanted to spend the day with her instead of doing work (he tells her it’ll be done soon). Silk still messes with Seto, though (his keyboard?) and he says he’ll definitely play with her after he’s done. Silk won’t leave though and she sits on his knee.

In track 6, the part I remember the most is where Silk is still mad at Seto for doing work instead of playing with her. Seto tries to apologize, saying how he wants to hold her and feel her warmth (when he says that part, I can’t help but laugh!). Silk then comes over but she still won’t play with him (hasn’t forgiven him). He tells her that he’ll definitely play with her tomorrow – the whole day – no matter what happens. He pinky swears with her (how he does this is a mystery).

Track 7 (おはよう) Seto still wants to sleep, five minutes more please! Silk, however, tickles his foot (? and by licking him?) and he wakes up. When Silk tries to run away near the end of the track, Seto says “I won’t let you go~ gyu~” so cute. And he calls playing with Silk all day a date ♥ I think in track 8, Silk scratches Seto while playing, and she seems to feel bad for it. Seto tries to assure her that he’s okay and that’s she’s such a good girl. He then has her come over and pets her. Then he asks if she’s gotten fat but realizes that he shouldn’t say that to a girl. Very near the end of the track:

“Really, you are such a nice, amazing girl. The world’s/my most important [girl], no matter who. Will you marry me? What’s your answer? Really? I’m so happy. Thanks. […] I can’t see anyone else but you, you’re my number one!”

She’s a cat, okay? She’s a cat. But I laughed. Of course.

The next track (おやすみなさい) has the two going to sleep again. Seto and Silk are supposed to sleep apart, but Silk comes and sleeps on Seto’s bed (he comments on how they shouldn’t sleep together because they’re boy and girl, but he relents).  In track 10 (いってきます), Seto is dressing for work because it’s a Monday. He tells Silk to be a good girl and wait for him, but she “makes a sad face.” But he says he has to go (and that she has to do her best to wait for him). Nearer to the end of the track, Seto’s thoughts play: He’ll always, always be with Silk and it’s because of her that he works so hard (and that she’s his cute, cute treasure).

The next four tracks are omakes. The first one has Seto start off describing his snake’s body sexily (fat, long, and big) Y⌒Y⌒Y⌒(。A。)アヒャヒャヒャヒ Seto seems to be having a sort of romantic conversation with his snake and the track ends with him asking what they should do now. If you think about how the listener is the snake, then it’s a bit suggestive (the next omake is too). The next omake had me laughing a lot. Seto says “Can i touch you here, too? […] Ah, it’s no good. At this point, I want to hear your voice!”

…but he’s talking to a motorcycle. Y⌒Y⌒Y⌒Y⌒Y⌒Y⌒(。A。)アヒャヒャヒャヒ

Ahahaha, in the fourth omake, Seto says his cat’s pose is sexy (and his sentences end in de chu~♥). Ishida Akira’s voice changes so much in this omake – it’s absolutely hilarious (I think Seto gets bitten and tries to deny that the cat doesn’t like him, so he gets bitten again). You may have noticed, but I skipped omake 3 (I don’t really know exactly what happens in it, but his pet is now a daikon).

In the free talk, Ishida notes on how he can’t keep a pet because they’d definitely die (and I think he expands on this, on how he probably would leave to buy food and have forgotten to lock the door, thus allowing his pet to run away). The secret track is in the free talk, after the long silence. It’s rather…huh? Is the impression I get. ahaha, wow at the lower voice though.

My thoughts:

Now that I think about it, Seto kind of talks to Silk like an child. He also talks to her kind of like a boyfriend at times, too, telling her things like “I love you!!!” and “Will you marry me?” Overall, this CD is a good start for those who don’t have that great of a grasp on the Japanese language and for those who love the otome genre. But it is rather silly – I burst out in fits of giggles in nearly every track. My only criticism would be that I really can’t imagine the character on the cover to have that kind of voice…but Ishida Akira definitely did a good job in playing the over-loving owner. Very. Cute. ♥ And hilarious.

I’m kure, and, as you can see, I’m pretty new to blogging. I don’t have many plans yet for this blog, but I might be posting some reviews for drama CDs or something. I might be posting slowly, however.

In any case, thank you so much for stopping by!
